			<description>The money donated to the above fund following the disastrous Japanese earthquake, tsunami and nuclear plant melt-down earlier this year has been distributed through the York Benimaru Foundation. Eight Fukushima public high schools which were forced to move to satellite campuses due to evacuation of their towns each received 55,000 yen. In keeping with a new national suggestion, we&#8217;ll use the &#8220;4&#8209;H Manitoba&#8221; format, with &#8220;4&#8209;H&#8221; first. 			<description>Retiring Executive Director: Caryl Brandt, our first Executive Director (ED) is retiring after four years of dedication, helping the Board through a Governance change, leading fundraising and branding, revamping website and eZines, developing Alumni recruitment on FaceBook, and upgrading our fiscal planning, as well as, on the national 4-H steering committee, developing the Embrace the Future project.Announcing New Executive Director: A search for a new ED has been a challenge but we have selected someone who will continue the work that was started. The 4&#8209;H Manitoba President, Trevor Carlson, is pleased to announce Clayton Robins as our new Executive Director.
Clayton has worked for Ag Canada for the last 22 years, most recently as a Research Technician at the Brandon Research Facility.
